6 Hawaiian Green "Lucky" Ti Plant 'Logs'---Save $$$

$10.95

Shipped from Hawaii with Aloha....this offer is for a total of six (6)  Green Hawaiian "Lucky" Ti Plant "logs"  (3 packages).   Each 'log' is approximately 3 inches in length.

In Hawaii today, many of our yards are hedged with Ti (pronounced "tee") for good luck.  People today still believe the Ti plant helps ward off evil spirits.

The versatile Hawaiian Ti was brought to ancient Hawaii in canoes by Polynesians as a source of vitamins (the root) and for food steaming/storage (the leaves).  Today, we still use the leaves for steaming food (shown in green leaf):

And we decorate with the leaves, too:

The Ti is a beautiful and striking ornamental plant used in landscaping.  Skirts of our hula dancers are made from the leaves.  The leaves are large and glossy.  Children playing in rain forests use the leaves as mats for sliding down slippery and muddy hills.

These Hawaiian Ti "logs" can be planted in a pot or in the ground.  Growing instructions:  cut waxed ends off and plant in potting soil mixed with perlite.  Keep moist and in a partially shaded location until roots and leaves are produced.  You can also start them in water (put in a small glass jar and fill water to 1/3 the height of the 'log').  Gradually move into full sun.  Water daily.  If climate is too hot (above 85 degrees), the ti plant will do better in partial shade.

These Ti "logs" come from a certified Hawaiian nursery and contain the Department of Agriculture stamp.  You can accept them with confidence that they are pest-free and approved for export to the U.S.

These Ti "logs" also contain the Hawaii Seal of Quality.  Hawaii's Seal of Quality program has strict requirements.  This seal represents the best of Hawaii's agricultural producers.  It protects the integrity of Hawaii branded products.  Products with the Seal of Quality must be Hawaii-grown or Hawaii-made.  This guarantee is enforced by the State of Hawaii.  This is an authentic Hawaii product.

You may never be able to do the hula or go mudsliding in a tropical rainforest....but for good luck, order your Ti "Logs" today!
