The native Hawaiian Bamboo Orchid plant is a tall and elegant reed-like plant that grows wild here in Hawaii. The dainty flower resembles the Cattleya orchid and are yellow and lavender in color. The Bamboo Orchid can grow to heights of 5 feet.
You will receive four (4) package with a total of eight (8) bulbs ready for planting.
Growing instructions: Place bulbs in well-draining potting media and keep moist at all times. Place initlaly in shade while rooting and move to a sunny location during summer. It can tolerate temperatures as low as 40 degrees F at night. Ideal temperature during the day is 60-80 degrees F. Fertilize with a general purpose garden fertilizer.
These bulbs come from a certified Hawaiian nursery and contain the Department of Agriculture stamp. You can accept them with confidence that they are pest-free and approved for export to the U.S.
